When I was a child I wanted to be a ecologist, because
in the kindergarten the teachers thought us so much about taking care of nature.
Sincerely I don’t remember why I gave up the idea of studying this. Also I wanted to
be a veterinarian and a firefighter. It looks like, I've always liked to help.
In the high school, I discovered I was good making
videos in Movie Maker. For school work I combined images, videos and music, with visual and musical effects, and I got good grades. So I thought about studying
graphic design but I wasn’t very convinced about working under pressure, because
I get inspired at quiet moments.
In third of the high school I knew about psychology but
I thought that just the clinical psychology exists (which I dont like until
today), then I investigated and I found that there
are different specialties at Universidad De Chile, so I decided to make the effort to enter that
university.
When I took the PSU test, I scored to
enter an A level of humanities and social sciences program at Universidad De
Chile. After that, I entered to study psychology and now I am in the fourth year.
In the beginning it was difficult because my classmates
knew more than I did, because they came from better schools, but then I started learning from them and felling comfortable.
I have been lucky; I have met beautiful people and learned very interesting
things.
I would like to be a legal psychologist, work in
gendarmerie and later in SENAME with children at social risk.
