Evaluation of your blogging experience

I think that using blogs to practice English is a good alternative to what is commonly used to learn English. I think it is something new, I don't know if this methodology is used elsewhere.
I liked the experience to comment on the post of the other companions, as it helped me to know them a little more and realize that I have interests in common with some of them.
The post of the films was very entertaining to read, record many movies that I want to see a long time ago and that I still can't see them.
I don't know if my writing skills improved a lot, but this is my fault, I misuse the translator a little. Because, I had other things to do and think during this semester and I didn't take enough time to perform this activity conscientiously.
A future I would like everyone to choose the topic of each post and to evaluate only a number of words and good writing. For example, I would like to write about how we are changing as a society. I believe that we are beginning to become more aware of the animal suffering, the diseases caused by eating animal foods and how this can be reversed with vegan food.

Person on my field that I admire

The person I most admire from my field is Lelya Troncoso Pérez. I met her when she took the subject of "Critical Gender Perspectives and Feminist Theories 2016" in which I was her student.
There is not much information on the internet about her biography. I could only find out about her academic life.
She graduated as a psychologist from the "University of Valparaiso", a master's degree in social psychology from the "Arcis University" and the "Autonomous University of Barcelona" and a Master of Science in Gender Studies from the University of Lund, Sweden.
He is Assistant Coordinator of Postgraduate Psychology Department at University of Chile. And external evaluator of articles for the magazine "Society and Equity" of the University of Chile.
she has presented in congresses, formed part of research and published articles mainly, on gender and sexuality.
She has also been research assistant for the following Fondecyt Projects:
- "Construction of generational stories about our recent past (1970-1990) in the setting of four places of memory in Santiago" (Department of Psychology, University of Chile).
- "Places of memory as scenarios of construction of generational stories about our recent past" (University of Chile).
Her line of research to follow in the Doctorate of Psychology of the University of Chile is: social psychology (critical), studies of gender / feminisms, studies of collective memory.
I admire her because I think she's a good person. In her classes I was able to perceive that she does not feel superior to her students as many teachers do. And most importantly, she is a feminist.

Pancakes

Pancakes have different origins, apparently from Spain but are also popular in the United States and Latin America in countries such as Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
My mom taught me how to prepare them when I was 15 years old, and it helped me a lot, I started to make pancakes and sold them at school (sales were very well, even the teachers bought them).
I prepare them with 1 liter of milk, 4 eggs and flour.
First, make the mixture, put the liter of milk in a bowl, then I add the eggs, and finally I add the flour until the mixture is thick.
Second, I warm up a pan with a drop of oil, and then I distribute the all oil over the pan. I take a ladle of the mixture and pour it in the pan, wait a few seconds and then I turn the pancake, so that it cooks on the other side.
Third, you put "manjar" or marmalade in the whole pancakes and you roll it.
And ready to eat!

My favorite photography

I took this photo with a timer, on Mother's Day. At that moment, my brothers and I were singing a song for my mother in our home.
At present my brothers do not live in our house, so it is difficult to meet, because we have different schedules, so I really like this picture because we are all the five (mom, dad, brothers and me), also, we are laughing, and this reflects that we were happy at the time.
We always meet for this type of occasions, we are very united (and I love it).  This mother's day, we wanted to do it differently, so we looked for a song according to the occasion, rehearse it and sing it that day. My mother was very happy with the surprise and my father too.
I believe that this photo represents us as a family and that it will be a very good memory.
My mother is very good, she deserves all the surprises in the world!

My favorite movies

Today, I'm going to write about my favorite movies.
The movie "Cadena De Favores", I saw it for the first time when I was 12 years old, with my dad. I like it, because this film shows how we can improve the world a with daily solidarity acts. My favorite scene is sad: the child dies and the people who knew him, goes to his home to recognize the great work he did.
The movie "Relatos Salvajes", I saw it for the first time when I was 20 years old, with my friends from the university. I like it, because this film is composed of a series of stories that show the diffuse border that separates civilization and barbarism in different situations of conflict. My favorite scene is the climax of the last story, when a bride discovers in her wedding that her husband is unfaithful and faces him.
The movie "Avatar", I saw it for the first time when I was 14 years old, with some friends. I like it, because as some humans try to eliminate a civilization of another species just for ambition (this happens in the real life). And my favorite scene is when the people of this civilization unite and shoot down humans.

The Cellphone

It has been difficult to make the decision to choose my favorite technological article. But after thinking carefully, I realized it is the cellphone. Since I wake up, until I go to bed, I have it in my hands. It is useful for everything. I love having a cell phone, because it is a small device with a lot of faculties. I wake up on time thanks to the cellphone, because I set the alarm on it. I get in touch with my loved ones since they all use whatsapp, I am aware of the news at the university. I use the agenda to organize my time and the camera to capture special moments. I got this cellphone a month ago, thanks to my mobile plan. If I did not have a cell phone I think that I would not wake up on time, I would miss several notifications from university, I would forget about what I have to do, I would not talk so often with my loved ones, and I would not have so many pictures. My life would be calmer, but I love it.

My Career

When I was a child I wanted to be a ecologist, because in the kindergarten the teachers thought us so much about taking care of nature. Sincerely I don’t remember why I gave up the idea of studying this. Also I wanted to be a veterinarian and a firefighter. It looks like, I've always liked to help.

In the high school, I discovered I was good making videos in Movie Maker. For school work I combined images, videos and music, with visual and musical effects, and I got good grades. So I thought about studying graphic design but I wasn’t very convinced about working under pressure, because I get inspired at quiet moments.
In third of the high school I knew about psychology but I thought that just the clinical psychology exists (which I dont like until today), then I investigated and I found that there are different specialties at Universidad De Chile, so I decided to make the effort to enter that university.
When I took the PSU test, I scored to enter an A level of humanities and social sciences program at Universidad De Chile. After that, I entered to study psychology and now I am in the fourth year.
In the beginning it was difficult because my classmates knew more than I did, because they came from better schools, but then I started learning from them and felling comfortable.  I have been lucky; I have met beautiful people and learned very interesting things.
I would like to be a legal psychologist, work in gendarmerie and later in SENAME with children at social risk.
